Writing, especially online, is powerful. Ideas languishing in the notes app on my phone are far less valuable than ones that I share and get feedback on. I’ve written a bit on Substack over the last couple of years, but that format doesn’t feel exactly right for what I want to start playing with: daily-ish, short posts that might include links, book passages, or whatever questions happen to be on my mind on a given day. As I start writing short blogs posts more regularly, I’ll also publish longer essays more frequently too. The essays already published here give a sense of what I’m most interested in: philosophy and “big ideas” about society and the world of technology, startups, and venture capital. I’ve also written about how those things are more alike than they might seem.
